Hours & Policies

Our Massage Therapists and Nurse Practitioner are independent

and have differing hours.  

We love each and every one of our clients!  We love to prepare our day to make sure YOU feel pampered, special and in every way, appreciated here at Karing Hands.  We come in early and fill all of our diffusers with our wonderful essential oils, prepare hot towels for your comfort, making sure everything is ready for your special day.  We anticipate your arrival with joy...this is not only our job, but our pleasure to make everyone feel wonderful when they leave.

With that being said, it is also our livelihood.  Just as your job gives you income to take care of your family, this is ours. So when people do not give us enough notice to fill their spot, without the 24 hour notice or do not show up for their appointment, our income suffers.  

So while this may feel personal that we ask this of our clients...and yes, even our friends, to adhere to our policy, this is to help us stay open, see all of the clients we can and to sustain our livelihood. 

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.  In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, the following policy is in effect:

24 hour advanced notice is required when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.

 If you are unable to give a 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.  The amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

 No-Shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”.  They will be charged for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.  If appointment was with a Gift Certificate of any kind, it will be forfeited.

 Arriving late

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you.  If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours.  Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment.  Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
